Glasses

Glasses are also called spectacles or eyeglasses. Glasses are frames (from various material, such as metal, glass, plastic...) with lenses. The lenses were originally made from glass, but these days it is more usual to make them from some plastic, for example polycarbonate. Glasses are worn in the front of the eyes. There are lots of types of glasses and it depends on the reason why you wear them. Glasses are worn for vision correction or eye protection (e. g. protection from UV rays). Mostly people were sunglasses to have a better vision in a sunny daylight. Wearing glasses is sometimes just a matter of fashion.
